Chicago-O’Hare (ORD)

Nursing Mothers Room:

  • Location: Every terminal has at least one location. Check out the website below for the details, but they make it very easy to find restrooms and lactation pods while in transit.

  • Access: All can be secured, but you access as a first-come, first-served basis at any location

  • Set-up: Mamava pod is standard, was clean. My legs and knees were swollen from the flight so I was able to elevate them on my layover in the space, which helped a lot before my next flight.

  • Other: If traveling with kids, this airport has a few very cool features that are just fun to explore.

    • The lighted moving walkway tunnels between terminals are bright and exciting. We rode several times just for fun.

    • The flag hall (terminal 3) is iconic from Home Alone, but it remains a really neat and fun place to walk through en route to the airplane.

    • If your kids (or you) like dinosaurs, it’s worth a detour if time allows to see the massive skeleton in the airport. The Brachiosaurus replica skeleton towers over concourse B (near security) and is really cool to stop and look at.
