Chicago-O’Hare (ORD)
Nursing Mothers Room:
Location: Every terminal has at least one location. Check out the website below for the details, but they make it very easy to find restrooms and lactation pods while in transit.
Access: All can be secured, but you access as a first-come, first-served basis at any location
Set-up: Mamava pod is standard, was clean. My legs and knees were swollen from the flight so I was able to elevate them on my layover in the space, which helped a lot before my next flight.
Other: If traveling with kids, this airport has a few very cool features that are just fun to explore.
The lighted moving walkway tunnels between terminals are bright and exciting. We rode several times just for fun.
The flag hall (terminal 3) is iconic from Home Alone, but it remains a really neat and fun place to walk through en route to the airplane.
If your kids (or you) like dinosaurs, it’s worth a detour if time allows to see the massive skeleton in the airport. The Brachiosaurus replica skeleton towers over concourse B (near security) and is really cool to stop and look at.
