Nursing Mothers Room:

• Location: Mamava pod is located within the airport (ask at information booth near baggage claim or at security)

• Access: Follow instructions on the pod

• Set-up: Mamava pod is standard, was clean when I visited and has two benches, a mirror and outlets with a shelf. Of note, it is air-conditioned, which is nice because the airport is half outside (only the gates themselves are in A/C) and it can be hot and humid, so it’s a nice break.

• Other: Drop-off is right near bag check and carts are available, which makes it much easier. Once inside amenities are limited. The bathrooms are tight and a bit tough to navigate with a stroller. There is a changing table, but it was tricky to access. There are not a lot of food options either, so plan accordingly. Also keep in mind they have restrictions on being able to bring produce to/from Hawaii so there can be some challenges packing for littles. We encountered some fairly grumpy staff, not quite the vibe we expected, but I don’t want to say it was all bad, just something to be aware of.
