Tampa International [TPA]
Nursing Mothers Room:
Location: In the main terminal (outside security next to the red elevators), Terminals E & F; They say ones in A & C should open later this year. NOTE: staff did not know where these were located, I had to scout it out on my own.
Access: Indicator on latch shows if it is occupied.
Set-up: Clean, basic set-up with sink, changing area, table and outlet. The one outside of security was very large, plenty of room for multiple suitcases, strollers and the whole family if needed. The signage for it was easy to spot as you walk out of the terminals.
Other:
On the way to baggage claim, between the red & blue banks of elevators is a giant flamingo that was a hit with my girls.
Car rental garage has all agencies in one place. You have to go down to collect your luggage, then take the elevators back up to get to the train. Then, once off the train, you take another set of elevators to the actual rental agency. It isn’t hard, the signage is great, but with two kids and two suitcases, it was cumbersome to get on and off. The car rental pick-up has clean, new restrooms should you need a break but does not have a water fill station, so plan accordingly.
